Whitening (Bleaching)

Whitening a patient's teeth removes the appearance of coffee and tobacco stains and improves the color of aging, yellowing teeth. Dr. Krauspe uses an "at home" technique which often shows results in one to three weeks. The patient has impressions taken so that custom trays can be made. The patient then adds the bleaching agent to the trays and bleaches at their convenience--while watching TV, or even while sleeping!

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Old, unsightly mercury fillings are removed and replaced with composite ones. These bonded fillings hold the tooth structure together, strengthening the teeth. Mercury fillings often crack and break teeth because they are not bonded to them. Tooth-colored fillings offer patients metal-free dentistry, which allows light to flow through and reflect off the teeth, leaving a more natural smile.
