Dr. Krauspe has been a trusted dentist, serving the Kaneland area for over 27 years. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1983 from Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in the top 10% of his class.
Prior schooling included Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, and Monmouth College in Monmouth, IL. Dr. Krauspe served in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1975, on the USS Cobbler and the USS Salmon, diesel submarines.
When away from the office, Dr. Krauspe enjoys reading, movies, golf and woodworking. He has completed six marathons, but you may see him walking the streets of Elburn with "Lucy", his beloved dachshund.
He is also a seven year cancer survivor of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma after a successful stem cell transplant. He will always be grateful to his loyal patients and staff for the support extended to him during that challenging time. He celebrates his restored excellent health with enthusiasm.
Dr. Krauspe and his wife of over 30 years, Cheryl, have two sons, Christian and John, both of whom are Kaneland graduates. Cheryl currently serves as President of the Kaneland District #302 Board of Education.
As a family dentist, Dr. Krauspe provides comprehensive prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in dental care to patients of all ages. He continues his education to provide the most cutting edge procedures. He is a member of the Fox River Valley Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Krauspe grew up in Sandwich, Illinois, and values the community relationships that his practice promotes.
