Payments and Insurance at a Glance
Dental insurance is intended to help offset the costs associated with dental care. It is unfortunate when the mere thought of out-of-pocket expenses prevents many people from receiving routine and necessary dental treatment for themselves or their children.
It is our goal to make our dental care affordable for all of our families and their different budgets. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options for any treatment planned. Our office philosophy is that our responsibility for excellent dental care is provided to you, our patient, and not managed or limited by most insurance company networks.
Please don't be reluctant to ask questions! If you have dental insurance coverage, we will help you to realize the full benefits that you have available, regardless of whether we are listed as part of your network. In many instances, we have found that your coverage is the same. We will also help you file all the necessary claims, and we will accept payment assignments from insurance plans. We also accept VISA, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
You can lower your dental expenses by:
- Making full payment at the onset of treatment, eliminating the need for further bookkeeping and becoming eligible for a fee discount. (if you have insurance coverage, we will also offer this discount for the payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.)
- Minimizing your chances of needing major dental work in the long run by maintaining regular six-month check-up visits. The longer dental problems are ignored, the more painful and costly they can become.
- Practicing daily oral hygiene with good brushing and flossing habits, eating a healthy, balanced diet, and not smoking.
